Senior .NET Developer

We have an exciting opportunity for a senior .NET software developer to join our growing team based in our office in the heart of Manchester.

Who we are:

Dealers League is a Manchester-based marketing and software agency specialising in marketing and SAAS products for the marine industry, as well as websites and custom development. We are looking to add a senior .NET Developer to our team.

Our clients are varied and include yacht brokers and dealers, insurance companies and other marine companies all around the world. In addition, we have several SAAS products based on the .NET and PHP platforms.

What will you be doing:

The successful candidate will be working as part of our development team working on our SAAS products. A strong knowledge of the .NET Framework is required in particular .NET Core. You will utilise your skills to help us create solutions for our clients and enhance our own product base. You will become an integral part of the business’ on-going success by applying your skills, determination and ambition to all of our projects to ensure their success.

Skills required:

  • .NET Core
  • SQL
  • Good understanding of Object Oriented Programming and software design
  • Knowledge of a full product life cycle
  • An understanding of Agile development methods
  • Azure

Any experience in the following areas would be beneficial:

  • PHP
  • ASP.NET, MVC, Web Api, Core
  • Html, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery
  • Version Control
  • Continuous Integration

Attributes

  • Attention to detail is key and ability to test own work and identify issues is important.
  • Ability to take initiative and bring own ideas to the table
  • Excellent communication skills

Salary is dependent on experience but the successful candidates will be bright and have a proven ability to produce well thought out and highly structured code.
